A diagnosis of cognitive impairment can be the start of a long, unexpected journey. But you and your loved one never have to travel it alone. In addition to the programs and services that Aurora Adult Day Services has to offer, there are a number of state and local resources available to help light the way.
NEW YORK STATE OFFICE FOR THE AGING (NYSOFA)
The New York State Office for the Aging is a state-level resource for senior citizens, providing a wealth of helpful information for seniors and their families about health insurance, housing, veteran’s resources, transportation and more. AADS fulfills all Federal and State requirements for a social model adult day program under regulations issued by the NYSOFA.
ERIE COUNTY SENIOR SERVICES (ECSS)
The Erie County Senior Services website provides support for caregivers, information about long term care, transportation, volunteer opportunities, and nutrition. ECSS is the NYSOFA local office, and Aurora Adult Day Services is monitored by their annual needs analysis survey.
ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION(WNY CHAPTER)
Aurora Adult Day Services is proud to associate with the Western New York chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. They provide valuable support for and training to caregivers, education about the disease, and other local resources.

AADS is the reason Mom gets out of bed four days a week. There is great peace of mind and happiness knowing she is in a safe place with people who treat her like family.
